An Ushi-oni combines the horned head of an ox with the body of a spider, sea creature, or hulking monstrous beast depending on the coast that remembers it. It lurks near beaches, waterfalls, and mountain approaches, using raw strength and poison to pull victims from secure ground. Some work with alluring spirits that draw prey within reach.
