Aqrabuamelu
About
An Aqrabuamelu is a scorpion-person stationed at a cosmic mountain, gate, or road the sun uses to pass between worlds. Its human head speaks with solemn intelligence above an armored body, grasping claws, and a tail loaded with celestial venom. It remains at its appointed post and allows the untested to turn back. Travelers are tested for purpose, endurance, and knowledge of what lies beyond the gate.
