Afanc
About
An Afanc is a lake monster with the bulk of a beaver, crocodile, and river ox combined. It digs into banks, dams narrow waters, and lashes out when boats or livestock disturb its pool. Floods attributed to the creature may be deliberate or simply the result of its enormous den collapsing. Chains, teamwork, and drawing it onto land are more useful than pursuing it beneath black water.

Traits
Special Attack
Capsize: every creature aboard one vessel within 20 ft makes a Quick save. On a failure, the creature falls into the water and takes 2d6 bludgeoning damage.
Special Defense
Drawn from the Lake: while entirely out of water, the Afanc loses 2 AC and cannot use Capsize. Three secured chains allow a group Strength Chance Roll to drag it 10 ft.
