Spell Details
Effect
You call upon nature itself to judge all within the area. Massive vines, roots, and thorns erupt from the ground, dealing 6d6 piercing damage to all creatures. Those who have harmed nature or committed ecological crimes take double damage, and if they fail the Quick save they are also entangled by the vegetation for 1 minute.
Scaling
At 9th level, the vegetation becomes permanent, transforming the area into a memorial to nature's wrath.
Special Notes
The DN determines what constitutes "ecological crimes" for the double damage effect. Entangled creatures may attempt a Tough save at the end of each turn to break free. The vegetation that remains after the spell provides hampering ground and may have other lasting effects. Requires natural ground; blocked by worked stone, metal decking, or similar surfaces.
