Spell Details
Effect
You unleash a divine cataclysm at a distant location. Choose fire, radiant, or tempest theme when casting. All creatures in the area take 10d6 damage of the chosen type and face additional ongoing hazards for 3 rounds.
Fire mode creates burning ground that deals 2d6 fire damage at the start of each creature's turn, with a Quick save for half damage. Radiant mode bathes the area in searing light that forces creatures in the open to make a Tough save each turn or be blinded until the start of their next turn. Tempest mode unleashes hurricane winds that require creatures to make a Quick save at the start of their turns or be knocked prone and have their speed halved that turn.
Special Notes
The cataclysmic event creates hampering ground that persists for 1 hour after the hazards end. The apocalyptic display is visible and audible for miles around. Total cover blocks the initial damage but not the ongoing hazards for creatures already inside the affected area. Creatures entering the devastated area during the 3-round duration immediately face the ongoing hazards appropriate to your chosen theme.
