Valkyrie
About
She is over the field before it starts and she has already made most of the decisions. She is not there to kill anybody - she is there to choose, and the choosing is the whole of her office, and it is not a reward or a punishment but an assessment of what a person is for. She will tell you who she has come for if you ask. She will discuss it. She has been argued out of it before, and she remembers who managed it, and so do the ones she took instead.

Traits
Special Attack
Spear of the Chooser: piercing, melee 15 ft, +6 to hit, 3d6+5, twice each round, and she fights well without any particular enthusiasm for it. The Choosing: 60 ft, no attack roll. She names one creature that will fall in this battle. That creature takes 3d6+5 and is marked; while marked it cannot be healed above half its HP by any means, and the DN should say so plainly so the player understands what has happened.
Special Defense
Argue the Choice: she will hear a case - that the wrong person has been named, that another is more fitting, that this one is owed more time - and she can be persuaded, genuinely, by a good argument honestly made. A successful case removes the mark and she names somebody else, possibly the arguer, and she will say so before they commit. Not a Fight: reduced to 0 HP she withdraws upward unhurt and the choice she made stands. She cannot be killed by anyone at this level and does not pretend otherwise.
