Soldier
About
A soldier is trained to remain part of a line when instinct says to scatter. Equipment and ancestry vary by army, but the habits are recognizable: matched pace, overlapping protection, repeated commands and attacks directed at the same opening. Alone, a soldier is capable; beside others following the same drill, the formation becomes the weapon.

Traits
Special Attack
Formation Thrust: piercing or slashing, melee 10 ft, +2 to hit, 1d8+2. If an allied soldier stands within 5 ft, the attack gains +1 to hit and pushes the target 5 ft on a failed Tough save.
Special Defense
Closed Line: while adjacent to an allied soldier, the soldier gains +1 AC and +1 Mind. Separating the line by at least 10 ft, attacking from opposite sides or forcing soldiers onto broken ground removes both bonuses.
