Skvader
About
The skvader has the forequarters and hind legs of a hare joined to the wings and tail of a grouse. It is famous as a hunter's impossible trophy, which may be why living specimens become violently offended by measuring tape, taxidermy tools and confident naturalists. A startled skvader runs, flies and changes direction without committing to any of them. Flocks nest in steep woodland where fallen feathers lead collectors over cliffs.

Traits
Special Attack
Winged Bound: bludgeoning, melee 5 ft, +3 to hit, 1d6+2. Feather Burst: creatures in a 15 ft cone make a Quick save; those that fail are blinded until the end of their next turn. It may use Feather Burst once every 3 rounds.
Special Defense
Neither Hare nor Bird: snares designed for ground animals and nets designed for birds each give it +2 Quick. A trap combining a low tunnel with an overhead net gives no such bonus. Carrots, grain or a convincing painted likeness distracts it for 1 round after a failed Mind save.
