Python
About
Game trails, low branches and warm stone give a python places to wait until prey enters reach. The first bite anchors the victim; coils follow, tightening whenever the victim exhales or struggles without leverage. A large python may remain wrapped around a tree or beam so its own weight cannot easily be pulled away.

Traits
Special Attack
Coiling Bite: piercing, melee 5 ft, +3 to hit, 1d8+2. The target makes a Quick save; on a failed save, it is held in the python's coils and takes 1d8 bludgeoning damage at the start of each turn. The target or an ally may use a turn and attempt a Tough save to unwind the coils.
Special Defense
Anchored Coil: while wrapped around a tree, beam or other fixed support, the python gains +2 Tough against attempts to pull it free. Cold damage gives it -2 Quick and prevents Coiling Bite until the end of its next turn.
