Medusa
About
Once-mortal beings twisted into serpentine horrors, their hair a writhing nest of vipers and their stare a curse that turns the living to cold stone. A medusa fights as a patient archer, loosing arrow after arrow from the shadows of her lair - a ruined temple or statue-gallery filled with the petrified remains of all who met her eyes - and lets any who close the distance fall to her venomous snakes and deadening gaze.
