Judgment Lion
About
A golden lion with serpent-scales beneath its mane, set to guard holy roads and weigh each traveler by scent alone. It blocks the path and studies you, unhurried, deciding whether you pass or are found wanting. Those it judges guilty it meets with a measuring roar that roots them in fear, then a pounce of pure light - and it always seems to know who carries something stolen.
