Giant Snake
About
A Giant Snake is a heavy-bodied constrictor long enough to cross a chamber while its tail remains hidden. It waits in warm ruins, tree hollows, and river caves where prey must pass within reach. Silence replaces roar and display: the snake strikes, coils, and conserves every movement until the struggling stops.

Special Attack
Coiling Bite: piercing, melee 10 ft, +2 to hit, 1d4+1. A hit allows the snake to hold the target; a held creature takes 1d8 bludgeoning damage at the end of each round.
Special Defense
Unwind the Tail: dealing 10 damage to the exposed coils in one round releases the held creature. Cold that covers its body gives it -2 Quick and prevents Coiling Bite for 1 round.
