Elk
About
An elk is taller and heavier than its distant silhouette suggests. During the rut, or when calves are trapped, an adult lowers a crown of antlers and crosses open ground before most travelers understand they have been challenged. In forest it uses trunks as cover, strikes once and wheels away, leaving narrow tines to do the damage.

Traits
Special Attack
Antler Rush: piercing, melee 5 ft, +3 to hit, 1d10+2. After moving at least 15 ft in a straight line, the elk drives the target 10 ft backward on a failed Tough save.
Special Defense
Path of Retreat: an elk does not pursue creatures that move away from its calves, feeding ground or rutting territory. Dense barriers and narrow doorways prevent Antler Rush; open flame gives it -2 Mind while an escape remains visible.
