Coblynau
About
Coblynau are mine spirits whose distant hammering marks rich seams, trapped air, or stone about to fail. They resemble stunted miners with oversized heads and tools worn smooth by centuries. They protect workers who listen to the mountain and torment overseers who value ore above lives. A working band moves through connected tunnels as one coordinated presence, its warnings passing from hammer to hammer.

Warning Hammers: every hostile creature within 20 ft makes a Tough save or takes 1d6 thunder damage and becomes unable to hear clearly for 1 round.
Special Defense
Follow the Safe Knock: a creature that stops digging and follows their measured tapping is not attacked. Collapsing or flooding the passage they protect forces the Coblynau to spend their next round rescuing trapped creatures.
