Barracuda
About
Beyond the reef edge hangs a silver line with teeth. Sudden splashing, blood or reflected light turns the barracuda's stillness into a straight rush. It bites, passes and circles, leaving a quiet interval after the first wound that can be as dangerous as the strike itself. Divers learn to keep bright metal covered and wounded companions between steady hands, since a frantic retreat invites another pass.

Traits
Special Attack
Flash Strike: piercing, melee 5 ft, +4 to hit, 1d6+2. During the first round, or against a target carrying exposed polished metal, the attack deals an additional 1d4 damage.
Special Defense
Breaks Away: after taking 6 damage from one attack, the barracuda makes a Mind save and retreats on a failure. Covering reflective objects and leaving bloody water removes the additional damage from Flash Strike.
