Spell Details
Effect
You encase the target in a block of magical ice that freezes them solid. The target must succeed on a Tough save or be frozen in place, unable to move or take actions. The ice is extremely cold and deals 2d6 cold damage per round to the target. Creatures that need air begin suffocating per core rules after 1 minute. The target may attempt a Tough save at the end of each of its turns to end the effect.
Scaling
At 6th level, the damage increases to 3d6 cold damage per round.
At 9th level, the damage increases to 4d6 cold damage per round, and the ice becomes nearly unbreakable.
Special Notes
The ice can be melted by fire or heat-based spells.
