Spell Details
Effect
You reshape solid stone as if it were soft clay. You can create passages, stairs, simple furniture, or basic architectural features. The stone retains its structural integrity and hardness once shaped. You cannot create complex mechanisms or fine details smaller than your fist.
Scaling
At 6th level, you can shape up to 200 cubic feet of stone. At 9th level, you can also work with metal and crystal, and create more intricate details.
Special Notes
This spell works only on natural stone, not worked stone or enchanted materials. The shaping process is silent and produces no dust or debris. Examples of 100 cubic feet: L × W × H = 100 ft³ 10 ft × 5 ft × 2 ft = 100 ft³ 8 ft × 5 ft × 2.5 ft = 100 ft³ 4.64 ft × 4.64 ft × 4.64 ft ≈ 100 ft³ (a cube version) 20 ft × 2.5 ft × 2 ft = 100 ft³
