Tiangou
About
Tiangou is the heavenly hound associated with eclipses, falling stars, and the devouring of sun or moon. Its arrival turns daylight thin and throws every shadow in the wrong direction. Communities traditionally answer with noise, weapons raised toward the sky, and collective refusal to let the light disappear quietly. The creature tests whether a people can act together before darkness becomes normal.

Special Attack
Bite the Light: every creature within 90 ft makes a Mind save. A failure suffers -2 to attacks and saves while the area remains in supernatural darkness. A successful save avoids the penalty. Falling-Star Pounce: choose a point within 100 ft. Creatures within 20 ft make Quick saves or take 4d10 fire and bludgeoning damage; afterward Tiangou stands at that point. A successful save avoids the damage.
Special Defense
Noise of the Whole Community: if five creatures create deliberate noise during the same round, the darkness ends and Tiangou loses 2 AC for 2 rounds.
