Sea Snake
About
A sea snake moves through reefs and weed beds with little effort, surfacing only briefly before returning below. It is reluctant to bite unless trapped in a net, grabbed or pressed against a swimmer, but its venom is built for prey that cannot reach shore. Fishers fear finding one alive among the catch more than seeing it in open water.
