Lutin
About
A Lutin is a French household, stable, or shoreline spirit that favors red caps, quick hands, and transformations into small animals. It braids horses' manes, hides keys, and leads night travelers in circles, but may become a loyal helper when offered gifts and treated without commands. Its jokes turn cruel when someone harms the animals or family under its attention.

Traits
Special Attack
Borrowed Shape: the Lutin becomes a cat, hare, fox, or shadow and moves up to 30 ft before making its 2d6+2 strike. It cannot be held during this movement.
Special Defense
Unbraid the Mane: carefully undoing one of its braids or knots prevents Borrowed Shape for 2 rounds. Salt across a threshold bars it until someone inside knowingly brushes the line aside.
