Headless Horseman
About
The Headless Horseman is a mounted revenant condemned to ride a particular road after midnight. A severed neck rises above military clothes or burial garments, while the missing head may be carried, hidden, or replaced by a burning harvest lantern. It pursues those who cross its route until they reach the boundary that ends the haunting or return what was taken from its grave.

Special Attack
Midnight Pursuit: the Horseman rides up to 50 ft and makes a 3d6+4 strike. If the target moved away during the previous round, the attack deals an additional 2d6 damage.
Special Defense
Bridge, Bell or Buried Head: crossing the Horseman's appointed boundary ends Midnight Pursuit. Recovering and returning its true head removes its DR and allows the revenant to recognize speech.
