Gjenganger
About
A Gjenganger is a dead person who returns bodily because a promise, crime, or grievance remains active. Unlike a fading ghost, it opens doors, leaves mud, and sits with the weight of a living visitor. It may protect family, punish an oath-breaker, or spread death by pinching sleepers. Discovering the unfinished obligation is the only reliable way to distinguish justice from obsession.

Traits
Special Attack
Death Pinch: necrotic, melee 5 ft, +4 to hit, 2d6+3. A target also makes a Tough save or loses 1d6 maximum HP until the Gjenganger's obligation is addressed.
Special Defense
Finish What Followed Home: completing or publicly resolving its last obligation suppresses Death Pinch. Burial iron placed across its path lowers its DR to 0.
