Eloko
About
Knee-high, grass-clothed, with a mouth that opens wider than the head above it. The eloko guards a patch of forest and the fruit in it, and it announces itself with a small bell. The bell is the danger. Anyone who hears it stops walking, then stops thinking, then walks toward it. Hunters going into eloko country stop their ears with wax or moss before they enter the treeline, and everyone can see them do it, and nobody laughs.

Special Attack
Bell Voice: 60 ft, save Wis Mind, fail save roll 1d4+1 psychic and the target must spend its next turn moving toward the eloko, cooldown 2 rounds. Wide Bite: piercing, melee 5 ft, +3 to hit, 1d6+2, and it opens further than it should.
Special Defense
Stopped Ears: any creature whose hearing is blocked before the encounter begins is immune to Bell Voice outright. This must be done in advance - covering the ears mid-fight is too late, the bell is already inside. Of the Grove: it does not leave its patch of forest and cannot be drawn out of it by any provocation.
