Cassowary
About
A cassowary disappears surprisingly well among wet leaves and broad jungle shadows. When threatened it lowers its bright neck, surges forward and rakes with the long inner claw of either foot. Fruit, eggs and young bring it close to camps, and anyone who mistakes the bird's stillness for tameness may learn how quickly it can cross a clearing.

Traits
Special Attack
Raking Kick: slashing, melee 5 ft, +4 to hit, 2d6+2. A wounded target loses 1 additional HP at the end of each round until it or an ally uses a turn to bind the cut.
Special Defense
Rainforest Charge: roots, leaf litter and ordinary undergrowth do not reduce the cassowary's movement. It will not pursue beyond sight of its feeding ground, eggs or young unless it has been wounded and cornered.
