Brownie
About
It threshes the grain, scours the pots and mends the thatch, all between the banking of the fire and first light, and it asks for a bowl of cream on the hearthstone and nothing else. A brownie is not a servant and takes bitter offence at being treated as one. Leave it wages and it is insulted. Leave it clothing and it is gone by morning, forever, often with a rhyme about the gift left ringing in the rafters. Households that lose one rarely prosper again.

Traits
Special Attack
A wronged brownie fights with whatever the house provides - the poker, the boiling pot, the loose flagstone. Improvised Strike: bludgeoning, melee 5 ft, +2 to hit, 1d4+1, and it always has something to hand. Souring: 20 ft, save Con Tough, fail save roll 1d4 poison as milk curdles, ale turns and rations spoil in the pack, cooldown 3 rounds.
Special Defense
Of the House: within a dwelling it knows, it moves through walls, floors and locked doors freely and cannot be cornered. Gift of Clothing: offer it any garment and it departs at once, permanently, and the encounter ends. This works, it always works, and the household will regret it.
