Effect
No other magic can add to the wearer's Chance Rolls while the ring is on the hand. The ring sounds whatever it is pressed against or pointed at, so the wearer knows the exact depth, thickness, or distance of any one thing they can see or touch, to the inch, through stone, water, or fog. The tallow in the cup takes the print of whatever surface the ring is pressed against, however deep it lies.
