Effect
Time does not pass inside the box while the lid is shut. Nothing within ages, rots, dries, burns, bleeds, cools, or continues any process begun outside it: a lit fuse stops mid-length, a spreading venom halts, a severed hand keeps a century, a held breath is not spent. Interior is one cubic foot exactly and the lid will not shut on anything protruding. A creature small enough to fit is held in the same stillness and passes no time at all, though an unwilling one keeps the lid off itself with a Quick save and cannot be shut in at all while it can still move. Opening the lid starts everything again from the instant it stopped.
