    Zmey Gorynych is a many-headed Slavic dragon that descends upon settlements, demands tribute, and carries captives to a lair beyond burning rivers or guarded mountains. Three heads are common, but stories allow more. Each head speaks, breathes fire, and argues over pride. Heroes exploit those disagreements while preventing severed necks from returning.

    Special Attack

    Three Fires: choose three different 40 ft cones. Creatures in each cone make a Quick save or take 4d10 fire damage. A creature can be affected by only one cone each round.

    Special Defense

    Seal the Neck: each head has 35 HP and AC 17, and damage to a head also reduces the dragon's current HP. Destroying one removes a cone, but the head regrows after 2 rounds unless the neck is sealed with cold, sacred earth, or a cauterizing blow.
