A great bird sheathed in feathers like blue glass, breathing a still cold that frosts the ground where it perches. It circles battlefields and deathbeds with equal indifference, scattering a purifying chill over whatever it passes. Cut it down and it sinks into its own frozen ash, then climbs back out whole a few breaths later, unless its remains are scattered or burned.
