    A Wanyudo is a burning ox-cart wheel bearing the tormented face of a cruel official or punished soul. It rolls along roads after dark, taking the souls of anyone who watches from a doorway or window. Fire streams behind it without consuming the road. The creature embodies punishment continuing after justice has become spectacle and appetite.

    Special Attack

    Soul-Roll: fire, 40 ft line, creatures make a Quick save. A failure deals 3d8 fire damage and leaves the creature unable to recover HP until the wheel is out of sight.

    Special Defense

    Close Your Eyes: a creature that closes its eyes before Wanyudo passes is immune to Soul-Roll but cannot attack that round. Removing the face from the wheel ends its fire and reduces DR to 0.
