On a calm night the sea rises into a black, bald head taller than a mast. The Umibozu asks for a barrel, and anyone who gives it one with a bottom soon watches the creature fill the ship faster than pumps can empty it.
Special Attack
Fill the Ship: a vessel within 60 ft takes on enough water to lose one quarter of its movement each round. After 4 rounds it sinks. Black Hand: bludgeoning, melee 30 ft, +6 to hit, 5d8+6.
Special Defense
Bottomless Barrel: giving the Umibozu a barrel with no bottom satisfies the request but gives it no means to sink the ship. It makes a Mind save; on a failed save it sinks beneath the sea for the night. It has DR 6 while touching the ocean and DR 2 when separated from it.
