Tiyanak

A tiyanak cries beside a road or in tall grass with the voice of an abandoned infant. When lifted, the weight changes, the limbs lengthen and the mouth opens farther than the borrowed shape should allow. It uses compassion as a hunting call. Backward feet, a horned shadow, or crying without breath can betray the borrowed shape. A rescuer who notices the sign can place it down before the shape closes around them.

Borrowed Cry: one creature within 40 ft makes a Mind save; on a failed save it must move toward and attempt to lift the tiyanak on its next turn. Revealed Bite: piercing, melee 5 ft, +4 to hit, 1d8+2, with an additional 1d6 damage against a creature holding it.

Notice the Wrongness: a creature that spends its turn examining the crying figure makes a Wisdom Chance Roll. On a success it notices the feet, shadow or breath and becomes immune to Borrowed Cry. Turning a garment inside out breaks the deception, reduces its AC by 2 and prevents additional bite damage.
