She has seen the world destroyed three times and she is not impressed by very much. She nests in the far mountains, she raised an abandoned child once and gave him a feather to burn if he ever needed her, and she came when it was burned. She knows things nobody else knows, she gives them away for nothing, and she has cured wounds that nobody else could reach. Everything about meeting her is an opportunity, and the only way to get it wrong is to raise a weapon.
Special Attack
She does not initiate and cannot be provoked into initiating. Wing and Talon: slashing, melee 20 ft, +6 to hit, 3d8+5, twice each round, used only after being struck and only to disarm, unhorse and drive off. She stops the instant anyone withdraws and she does not pursue.
Special Defense
Heals Instead: on any turn she has not been attacked she restores 3d8+5 HP to a creature that needs it, tends a wound no one else can, or answers a question truthfully and completely. This is what she is for. The Feather: any creature she has helped is given a feather. Burned, it brings her, once, from any distance, and she will come. Struck: reduced to 0 HP she leaves and does not return, and the feathers stop working, and whatever the party needed her for later is not going to be available. The DN should make sure there was going to be a later.
