Rawhead and Bloody Bones is a nursery terror assembled from butchered remains, a flayed skull, and every warning about looking beneath the stairs. It lives in cupboards, pits, and the unused spaces under a house, becoming more complete as frightened witnesses describe it. The creature preys on secrecy and isolation, especially when adults dismiss what a child has actually seen.
