A puca appears as a black horse, goat, hare or smiling traveler and offers exactly the ride or direction someone wants. It enjoys fear, confusion and overturned dignity, but rarely wants a death it did not plan.
Special Attack
Midnight Ride: one creature within 10 ft makes a Mind save; on a failed save it climbs onto the puca, which carries it up to 120 ft before throwing it prone for 2d6 bludgeoning damage. Hooves: bludgeoning, melee 5 ft, +4 to hit, 2d8+3.
Special Defense
Name the Destination: before accepting aid, a creature may state an exact destination and demand the puca repeat it. If the puca agrees, it must deliver the traveler there safely. Cold iron touching its bridle forces it into its true shape and prevents Midnight Ride.
