Pontianak

The scent of flowers arrives before the pontianak, followed by a woman's crying and then silence. She waits in fruit trees or beneath a roofline, appearing beautiful until she is close enough to strike.

Long-Nailed Grasp: slashing, melee 5 ft, +5 to hit, 2d8+3. Cry in the Trees: creatures within 30 ft make a Mind save; those that fail are frightened for 1d4 rounds and cannot call out above a whisper.

Nail at the Nape: a creature holding her may spend its turn pressing an iron nail into the hollow at the nape of her neck and make a Quick save. On a success she becomes an ordinary woman until the nail is removed. Flower scent reveals that she is within 60 ft even when hidden.
