Nisse

A nisse tends one farmstead with the severity of an old owner. It mends harness, quiets animals and finishes work after everyone sleeps, but expects a bowl of porridge with butter on top at the proper feast. Insults are remembered by the livestock first: milk sours, knots tighten and the strongest horse refuses its stall. The little red-capped guardian judges whether the family deserves the farm it inherited.

Barnyard Rebuke: bludgeoning, melee 5 ft, +2 to hit, 1d6+1. Tangled Harness: one creature within 20 ft makes a Quick save or becomes held by rope, reins or clothing until it succeeds on a Strength Chance Roll. Quiet the Animals: ordinary beasts within 30 ft stop attacking unless harmed again.

Porridge and Respect: a proper bowl of porridge offered before sunset ends its hostility for the night. The nisse cannot willingly damage the farm, its animals or stored winter food. Anyone who repairs harm done to those things may make a Charisma Chance Roll to settle the grievance without combat.
