Mormo is an ancient bogey from a Lower Realm shaped by the fear of being taken from safety. It wears whatever face a household uses in its warnings, then waits beyond the lamp line for someone to test whether the warning was true. Mormo prefers disobedience mixed with shame, because victims who expect blame are less likely to call for help.

    Special Attack

Voice from Outside: one creature within 30 ft makes a Mind save or hears a trusted voice and moves up to 15 ft toward Mormo.

    Special Defense

No Shame in Calling: a creature that openly asks an ally for help becomes immune to Voice from Outside. Crossing the lamp line together removes Mormo's DR for the encounter.
