Likho

Likho is misfortune given a one-eyed body. It follows the boastful, the envious, and anyone who insists bad luck happens only to other people. Doors stick, ropes part, friends misunderstand, and the simplest route produces one unnecessary danger after another. Likho can be fought, but accepting one honest loss without passing it to someone else weakens its claim.

Misfortune's Eye: one creature within 40 ft makes a Mind save. On a failure, it must reroll its next successful roll and use the second result.

Accept the Loss: voluntarily abandoning a desired treasure, favorable position, or pursuit prevents Misfortune's Eye for the encounter and reduces Likho's AC by 2.
