- Binding, holding and paralysis effects work perfectly well on him and are entirely beside the point. He does not need to move to leave.

A small solitary cobbler, mending one shoe, always one, in a hedge or a cellar or the corner of a field. He is worth a great deal and he knows it: caught and held, he must ransom himself, and the ransom is real. The catch is the holding. He must be watched, without a break, without a blink, without once looking where he tells you to look. He will point at something behind you. He will be extremely convincing about it.
Special Attack
Look There: 30 ft, save Wis Mind, fail save roll 1d4+1 psychic and the target looks where he indicates. If that creature was the one holding or watching him, he is gone - no roll, no pursuit, encounter over. Cooldown 2 rounds. Awl: piercing, melee 5 ft, +3 to hit, 1d4+1.
Special Defense
Watched or Gone: he cannot escape, teleport or vanish while at least one creature is looking directly at him and doing nothing else. The instant that lapses he is elsewhere. Ransom: held for one full minute, he will bargain in earnest, and his word once given is good, and what he offers is worth more than killing him ever would be.
