Ladon

Ladon coils around the tree of the golden apples and watches every direction at once. He does not hunt beyond the garden; he simply refuses every hand that was not given lawful permission to harvest.

Many-Headed Bite: piercing, melee 20 ft, +6 to hit, 3d10+5, three times each round against up to three targets. Orchard Breath: poison, 60 ft cone, Tough save; a failed save deals 4d8 poison damage and puts the creature to sleep for 1d4 rounds, while a successful save deals half damage without sleep.

Guardian, Not Hunter: Ladon cannot move more than 120 ft from the tree and will not pursue anyone who leaves the garden without fruit. Presenting a command from the garden's rightful keeper ends the encounter. While every apple remains on the tree, Ladon has DR 6; each removed apple lowers this DR by 1.
