A Komodo dragon walks with a patient, rolling gait and tastes the air for blood. It lunges once, tears a wide wound and follows the injured creature by scent while blood loss does the tiring work. Carrion draws several animals to the same place, where even a successful hunt may become a second fight over the body.
Special Attack
Tearing Bite: slashing, melee 5 ft, +3 to hit, 1d10+2. The target makes a Tough save; on a failed save, it loses 1d4 HP at the end of each round until the wound is bound or it receives healing.
Special Defense
Patient Tracker: the dragon can follow a bleeding creature across ordinary ground without a Chance Roll. After taking cold damage, it suffers -2 Quick and cannot use Tearing Bite until the end of its next turn.
