Kasa-obake

An old oiled-paper umbrella that has split down the middle into an enormous grinning mouth, grown a single eye above it and a long tongue below, and put out one bare leg with a wooden sandal on the foot. It hops. That is its entire mode of travel and it is startlingly quick at it. Nobody has ever been killed by one. Several people have been badly hurt getting away from one.

Tongue Slap: bludgeoning, melee 10 ft, +2 to hit, 1d4, and it is aiming to fluster rather than injure. Hop and Loom: it closes to melee and looms, forcing a save Wis Mind or the target retreats one move in whatever direction it happens to be facing, which in a cellar or on a stair is the actual danger. Cooldown 2 rounds.

Oiled Paper: destroyed outright by any single hit of 7 or more, whatever its remaining HP, and takes double damage from fire. Absurd: any creature that laughs at it - and the DN should be generous about what counts - takes no further interest from it. It is deeply offended and hops off.
