A spider of great age that has learned to wear the shape of a beautiful woman, spinning both silk and seduction. A jorogumo keeps a lonely house or waterfall grotto, taking in travellers as a gracious host before the doors web shut and the host reveals too many legs. She is patient, vain, and genuinely fond of company - right up until she feeds.
Special Attack
Venom Bite: poison, melee 5 ft, +3 to hit, 2d6+4 piercing and poisoned plus slowed on a failed Con Tough save. Web Snare: control, 30 ft, save Dex Quick, restrained in heavy silk on a failed save (an escape check frees it), cooldown 2 rounds. Beguiling Guise: lures a victim close in the form of a beautiful woman before revealing her true shape.
Special Defense
Shapechanger: appears as a human woman, a giant spider, or a blend of the two. Web Walker: moves freely across webs and climbs sheer surfaces. Senses: Night Vision (60 ft), Vibration Sense (feels movement, web, 30 ft).
