Jaguar

Flooded forest and riverbank cover do nothing to disturb a jaguar's silence. It attacks at close distance, bites through the skull or neck and pulls prey into roots or water where companions cannot surround it. Tracks may cross a stream several times because the cat uses water as another road. Fishers who find fresh prints beside their own camp know the animal has already watched them sleep.

Skull Bite: piercing, melee 5 ft, +4 to hit, 2d6+2. The bite ignores 1 point of DR. A target already knocked down or held takes an additional 1d6 damage.

Water Stalker: shallow or deep water does not reduce the jaguar's Quick. It can remain hidden at the waterline until a creature succeeds on a Chance Roll to notice its eyes, wake or displaced reeds.
