Iara

Iara is a river enchantress whose song carries through reeds and over still water. She may appear as a beautiful woman with long dark hair, as something scaled beneath the surface, or as both depending on the witness. She draws listeners away from companions and into deep water, but stories also remember her as a keeper of rivers who punishes exploitation and broken promises.

River Song: creatures within 60 ft make a Mind save. Those that fail move 20 ft toward the water and cannot willingly cover their ears for 1 round.

Answer Across Running Water: speaking a promise from the opposite bank gives another save. Polluting or damming her river grants her +2 AC; restoring its flow removes the bonus.
