A hand's span tall, grown rather than born, and entirely aware that its life is a rented one. It knows the exact state of its maker's health at all times, the way you know whether your own foot is asleep. It will fight with complete disregard for its own safety and none at all for its maker's, and if you want it to stop, you do not have to kill it. You have to find the alchemist.
Special Attack
Needle: piercing, melee 5 ft, +2 to hit, 1d4+1, and it goes for eyes and the backs of hands. Report: no roll. It is always in contact with its maker, and anything it sees, the alchemist knows within the hour.
Special Defense
Tethered Life: it dies the instant its maker dies, at any distance, without a save. Equally, reducing it to 0 HP does not settle anything while the maker lives and the workshop stands - a new one is decanted within the month with all the memories of the last. Knows the Vial: it always knows the direction and rough distance to its maker and will not be tricked about it.
