    The hidebehind is never seen squarely. It folds its narrow body behind a tree, post or standing person and follows logging camps until someone walks beyond the last fire.

    Special Attack

    Taken from Behind: slashing, melee 5 ft, +5 to hit, 2d8+4. The attack deals an additional 2d6 damage if no other creature can see the hidebehind. Snatch Away: after a hit, it may pull the target 15 ft toward cover.

    Special Defense

    Nothing to Hide Behind: in an open area at least 30 ft across, its AC falls to 11 and it cannot use Taken from Behind for additional damage. A creature keeping its back against another alert creature counts as being watched.
