Ellén Trechend

Ellén Trechend is a three-headed Irish monster that rises from a cavern to devastate the surrounding land. Its exact body is remembered through fragment and retelling, but the three ravenous heads and destructive emergence remain constant. The creature is a deep dragon whose three heads breathe smoke, stone fragments, and killing heat as the cavern collapses around it.

Threefold Ruin: choose three different 30 ft lines. Creatures in each line make a Quick save or take 4d10 fire or bludgeoning damage. A creature can be affected by only one line each round.

One Passage at a Time: sealing a cavern mouth removes one line from Threefold Ruin. When all original exits are sealed, Ellén Trechend must spend a round breaking a new path.
