Cipactli is a primeval crocodilian sea being covered in mouths at every joint. Land itself may be made from, built upon, or continually threatened by its divided body. Every mouth hungers independently, so wounding one part can redirect rather than diminish the danger. An encounter with Cipactli pits the party against the appetite beneath the world, with every joint opening into another mouth.
Special Attack
Mouths Everywhere: up to four different creatures within 20 ft make a Quick save. A failure deals 3d10 piercing damage and holds the creature in one mouth.
Special Defense
Feed One Mouth Deliberately: a substantial offering placed into one chosen mouth closes three others for 1 round. Destroying a mouth releases its held creature but does not reduce Cipactli's HP.
